Britannia Dr Wali Uddin, the chairman and chief executive of Britannia Spice, has been named in the first annual Asian Power 100. He joins a list of the 100 most influential and successful members of the British Asian community. The Asian Power 100 aims to identify the 100 Asian individuals in Britain who, through networks rather than net worth, are helping shape our country, economy and society for the better. The list, announced by the Institute of Asian Professionals in London on 1 September, 2005 was compiled by a panel of experts from various fields, who reviewed a wide variety of nominations.
Dr Uddin said: "It's an enormous honour and a privilege to be included among 100 people of Asian origin who have made a difference to British society. I'm delighted to be honoured in this way."
